Divide Ready by 5

Divide Ready by 5 is a grassroots collaborative originated by the Ready by 21tm Initiative, stemming from the Federal Safe Schools/Healthy Students grant received by the Black Oak Mine Unified School District.

Community Strengthening

This collaborative organization, funded by First 5 El Dorado, includes parents and representatives from early education and childcare, mental health services, healthcare, and businesses who serve the 0-5 population on the Georgetown Divide.

Desired Outcomes:

1. Literacy:  All Divide children will be ready for school by age 5.

 2. Developmental Milestones:  Parents will have the resources and tools to measure their child’s developmental progress.

 3. Safe and Healthy Environments:  Parents will have the information and resources to provide safe and healthy environments for their children.
