Prep Kindergarten Class

Register Now for

Fall 2010

 

A Preparatory Kindergarten (or Prep K) class for eligible 4 year olds and 5 year olds will be offered by the Black Oak Mine Unified School District.  The program is designed to serve students who are not quite ready for traditional Kindergarten.  Students who turn 5 before December 2 may begin Prep K when school begins in August.  Students who turn 5 after December 2nd may begin Prep K after their 5th birthday.  This class will give your child up to an extra year to learn and get ready before beginning traditional Kindergarten. Enrollment for Preparatory Kindergarten is limited, so be sure to sign up as early as possible if you are interested.  Enrollment is similar to enrollment in traditional Kindergarten.
